Your role within the Public Works team will be to plan, organize, manage, control and coordinate activities and work plans related to the maintenance of streets, parks and green spaces, and sports facilities.

For this position in particular, your challenges will be to ensure the completions of maintenance and repair on water mains and sewers:

• Assess necessary maintenance and repairs, establish full preliminary cost estimates, determine urgency of repairs and submit appropriate recommendations.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to the work team under his supervision. (10 blue collars employees).
• Handle complaints and requests from unit: solve them, do necessary follow-ups, recommend and implement appropriate preventive measures
• Make sure that excavation sites are safe and that health and safety regulations are implemented and respected
• On call on a rotational basis at Public Works
