The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, as part of an agreement signed with the Société d’habitation du Québec, invites its residents to take advantage of the Residential Adaptation Assistance Program. This program provides financial support to citizens who, because of their disability, must have work done to adapt their homes.
Eligibility for this program is evaluated according to specific criteria.
Residential adaptation assistance program
The program is geared towards handicapped persons living in a residential unit that must be modified or adapted as a result of their handicap. Work authorized within this program must help people maintain their autonomy in their daily activities.
Financial assistance may be as much as $16,000 per eligible person, or more, depending on several criteria including household income and whether specialized equipment is required.
Persons that are restricted in their daily activities by their handicap can benefit from this financial assistance program. You can obtain a copy of the Program registration form from your local community services centre (CLSC).

Subsidy programs
There are currently NO renovation, assistance for buildings damages by pyrite, emergency repair or energy efficiency subsidy programs offered by the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
