The Centennial Park, with a surface area of 48 hectares, is mainly dedicated for residents. This wooded and enchanting site allows for recreational activities in all seasons such as walking, beach volleyball, picnics, friendly soccer games, as well as skating, cross-country skiing and sliding in the winter. Please note that bicycle circulation in the park is prohibited and that bike racks have been added at several entry points to the park.
Considering the popularity of the park and the growing number of requests, the City is asking residents, non-profit organizations and anyone wishing to host a gathering of more than 20 people to complete and submit an online request to use the Centennial park to obtain the authorization before taking any steps to plan the event. Please note that park use fees may apply. Any unauthorized group will be denied access to the park. Cooking food and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
For safety reasons, please take note that during the winter season, November until March, the playground equipment in the parks and the outdoor fitness equipment are closed.
