The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux participates in the Quebec Water Efficency Strategy of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MAMH). One of the actions of this strategy is to replace shower heads with WaterSense® low flow shower heads.
In partnership with Hydro-Québec, the City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux offers free products that save more than 40,000 liters of water per year and more than 100$ per year of electricity for a household of 4 people.
In fact, the residents of Dollard-des-Ormeaux can get a kit that includes low-flow products with a reduced flow rate of 5.7 litres per minute—up to 40% less than standard products. Thanks to their proven performances, these energy-efficient products save water and energy without compromising comfort.
Three types of kits are available:
Massage showerhead kit
Rainfall showerhead kit
Handheld showerhead kit
Each kit includes the following:
- Ultra series fixed showerhead (ES3FF15CH)
- Ecofitt bathroom faucet aerator (EA15BPCA)
- Ecofitt swivel kitchen faucet aerator (EK15SW)
- Shower timer (N2146)
- Flow meter bag (S2065)
- Teflon tape (N4101)
